Hipstamatic 365 - Week Eight

Hello!  It's time for another week of Hipstamatic pictures!

Ready??

Okay...go!

Blanton
I finally turned in my group's Knitted Wonderland project on Saturday!  Talk about waiting til the last minute!  I stopped to take a couple of tree pictures before I left.

So Many Buttons
Look at all the pretty jewelry!  These button pieces are the result of my craft marathon weekend last week.

Still Christmas
I liked my felt Christmas light garland so much that I never took it down.  It's still hanging up in my living room.

Where the Sidewalk Ends
Don't you love Shel Silverstein?  My week was not going very well so I decided I needed to wear my bright blue tights to work to help me feel better.  I've never gotten so many compliments before!  It totally brightened my day.  ;-)

Blame Marci
The bad week continued on Wednesday so I decided to make it an official Blame Marci Day.  My friends are so funny.  They cracked me up with all the fun things they blamed me for.  It totally cheered me up.  I was worried that people might be running out of ideas for things to blame me for so I took a picture of the expensive gas to give them some suggestions.  Gas is now $3.19 so this looks like nothing!

I See You!
This was my sneak peek picture of Sweetie that I posted on twitter and Facebook.  I think it looks so cute!  I might print this one and hang it up somewhere.

Sweetie Pie
It's another Sweetie picture!  I love the way she turned out so much!  I almost hate to part with her.  She's going to First Thursday and will hopefully be adopted by a nice family that will take good care of her.  It's so hard to let my babies go!  ;-)

Hipstamatic 365 - Week Seven

I'm a day late with this post again.  I have been having problems with the internet at my house and Time Warner Cable is making me crazy!!!  Don't worry.  I won't waste time complaining about it here.  Let's get to some pictures!!  Here is week seven of my Hipstamatic 365!

Downtown
This picture is a little dark, but I liked the way this building downtown looked in it.  I stopped to take a couple of pictures before I went home from working on my Knitted Wonderland project with a friend on Saturday.  This is my favorite building downtown.  I actually have no idea what building it is.  I just like the way it looks.

Valentine
Here's another picture of my Valentine heart hoop.  I think everything looks cooler when photographed with Hipstamatic.

Mail Time
This is what I had waiting for me when I checked the mail on Monday.  Tons of craft supplies..and some pretty blue tights.  :-)

Wall of Hoops
I started hanging my embroidery hoops in the hallway at my house.  I don't have anything on the walls there so I figured it would be good decoration for now.  It's temporary of course, because most of these will be going to craft fairs, but, I like looking at them when I walk down the hallway for now.

Spring
I know it's not technically spring yet, but I was so happy to walk outside and see that some of the flowers are starting to bloom again.

Buttons
This was kind of a last minute picture.  I was feeling so terrible last week because of my allergies so I took medicine as soon as I got home and went to sleep.  I almost forgot to take my picture so when I woke up between dosees of medicine I took a picture of the first thing I saw.  Luckily it was super cute buttons!  ;-)

Necklaces
I was still feeling pretty bad on Friday so this is all the crafting I got done before I needed to take medicine and go to bed.  I'm happy to tell you that I felt a little bit better this weekend and made a LOT more buttons.  I'll post pictures of the results this week.  :-)

Hipstamatic 365 - Week Six

It's time for week six of my Hipstamatic 365!  This project is going by so fast!  This post is a little late.  My blog schedule has been very weird lately.  I'm hoping to get back into my regular schedule again soon.  :-)

For now...enjoy week six!

Leftover Snow
We had snow in Austin last Friday.  I was so happy to wake up on Saturday and still see some snow left over in shady spots.  I wasn't realy for it to be over!

Crafty Presents
I have all of these crafty presents on the wall by my sewing machine for inspiration.  The fabric postcards are from my giveaway win at Punk Projects.  The embroidery hoop is from my giveaway win at Curious Key.  The sewing machine painting was a gift from my friend Noemi.  The drawing is from Noemi's daughter, Sarah.  She drew Cupster from Robo Roku!

Stagecoach Park
The weather was finally warm enough for a run on Monday.  I went to Stagecoach Park and ran for a little while and then I took a few pictures.

Knitted Wonderland
I am really happy I worked on the Knitted Wonderland project, but I am very happy it's over!  :-)

Sunset
I was running errands on Tuesday and saw this pretty sunset so I took a quick picture before I went home.  This is behind Southpark Meadows in Austin.  Can you believe that??

New Color
I decided to make some more flower clips and ponytail holders since I am doing two markets back to back in March so I added a new color!  I like this orange.

Broken Heart
This is my Valentine's Day project.  I thought I bought enough buttons until I was putting the pattern together.  My heart was broken when I found out there weren't enough!  ;-)

Hipstamatic 365 - Week Five

This was a weird week for me.  The week started off really crazy making last minute plans and running last minute errands before my first craft market.  Then, Tuesday night I found out it would be canceled due to bad weather so everything came to a stop.  I can't lie.  I was a little depressed for a couple of days about it.  I have been looking forward to this and working non-stop since December to get ready.  I ended up taking off work Thursday anyway to work on my Etsy shop and just take some time to myself and re-group.  On Friday we had our snow day!  That means I got a four day weekend!!!  I had lots of time to collect my thoughts and refocus.  I'm so excited to get the shop up and running and make even more for the two markets I will be selling at in March!  :-)

Because it was such a weird week I had a hard time getting out and taking different pictures so a couple of these are similar to some of my 365 Project pictures.  I'm trying really hard to not have the same pictures for both projects because I think that defeats the purpose, but I'm not going to be mad at myself for having to compromise a little bit during this weird, weird week.

Friend
This is my little friend that  followed me around while I was taking pictures on Saturday at Stagecoach Park.

Pierre
I finally finish my Pierre plushie!  He may be the very last of his kind.  I don't know how many more of those embroidered mustaches I can take!  ;-)

Postcards
I finally figured out a way to display my postcards at my craft booth!  For some reason this one was very hard for me.

Hair Clips
I made these cards to use at First Thursday in February because my logo isn't ready yet.  I wanted some kind of packaging so I improvised this time.  I thought they turned out pretty nice considering I have pretty much no computer skills.  ;-)

Progress
I finally made it to the second color of my Knitted Wonderland projects.  We decided to go with large stripes to keep it simple.  I barely even knew how to knit when I took on this project.  I learned how to do a purl stitch this week.  One of these days I'll take some time to practice more knitting, but now I'm just ready to get back to my list of sewing projects that I've been saving up.

Rings
I photographed all of my rings on Thursday for Etsy.  This is one of my favorites.

Snow Angel
Snow day!!!  I thought the little angel statue looked really pretty holding the snow.  It was so amazing to see actual snow all over the ground.  I'm kind of sad it's gone.  I hope we get another snow day soon.  Oh wait!  I live in Austin.  It probably won't happen again for years!  I'm glad I got some good pictures.

Hipstamatic 365 - Week Four

It's time for week four of the Hipstamatic 365!  I'm so loving this project.  It's so much easier than the other 365.  It's been a crazy week doing all of the last minutes things I have left before my first craft market but I was able to squeeze in some fun time and take some pictures.  :-)

Here is week four...

Wendy Colonna
I went to Momo's with some friends on Saturday to see Wendy Colonna and Dave Madden.  It was such a great show!  I can't wait to see both of them play again.

Stitch Lab
I had to go buy some more felt to finish up my First Thursday projects so I headed over to my favorite Austin store, Stitch Lab, on Sunday.  Isn't it cute??

The Bridge
I photographed this bridge for my365 Project, too.  It's sitting behind a church that's in my neighborhood and I think it looks really cute.  It looks even better as a Hipstamatic picture!

Seymour
Seymour got  a little makeover this week.  He was the very first plushie I ever designed and made and I have improved my skills a little bit since then so he got an upgrade!  I think he turned out pretty cute!  :-)

Giveaway
I won this pretty picture from Curious Key in one of her giveaways.  I have it hanging up by my sewing machine.  :-)

Raby's Roots
This picture was taken outside of a shop in Buda called Raby's Roots.  They have so many wonderful things there.  This is just the little gated area out front.

The Highball
I wasn't actually at The Highball on Friday.  I met some friends at Austin Java and stopped on my way home to take this picture.  I really love the lettering on this sign.

Hipstamatic 365 - Week Three

I can't believe it's already week three of this project!  I'm loving my Hipstamatic 365 so much!  With all the projects I have going on right now (365 Project, blog, First Thursday preparation, Etsy preparation, Knitted Wonderland project...) it's nice to know that I don't have to stress about this one project.  Even if I get to the end of the day and don't have anything spectacular to photograph I know it will still look amazing because this app is awesome!  :-)

Here's week three!

The Black Out

We had a girlie day last Saturday for my friend Maja.  It was so fun.  First we had lunch at Shady Grove and then we stopped at Gourdough's to split a giant donut before we stopped at Hobby Lobby.  The perfect day!  This donut was so big!!  I'm glad there were three of us there to eat it.  It was a giant donut covered in fudge with chocolate chips and chocolate covered brownie bites on top.  It was heavenly!  I could never eat a whole one by myself...or could I?  Might have to try that out one day.  From now on I don't want birthday cake.  I want a Black Out!  :-)

City of Austin Power Plant

I went to buy some new running shoes at RunTex on Sunday so I walked over to take a picture of the  City of Austin Power Plant while I was there.

Africa Bag

My friend Nicole took a trip to Africa over the summer and she brought this amazing bag back for me.  I love it!  I'm using it for my knitting project right now.  :-)

Downtown Sunset

I had to exchange my running shoes on Tuesday so I decided to walk over to the trail and take a couple of pictures while I was there.  You can't see it very well here, but that white circle by the Frost building is the moon!  It looked huge this week!

Full Moon

I had to try out my running shoes at the high school track in case I needed to exchange them again.  They shut down the track when I was only halfway done with my run!  Annoyed!!  Oh well.  Guess I would have missed this cool picture of the moon if they hadn't kicked me out.  :-)

Windmill

I never knew there were so many windmills in Buda until I started my 365 Project.  This one is just a block from my house.  I walked over there on Thursday and took a couple of pictures.  It was so cold!!!

Friday Night Knitting

My allergies have been bothing me so much this week.  I've been having a little trouble concentrating on my craft projects.  But, since I have so much going on with so little time to finish it I decided I should at least try to get some knitting done on my Knitted Wonderland project before my medicine kicked in and made me all loopy.  :-)

Hipstamatic 365 - Week Two

My Hipstamatic 365 project seems to be going a lot easier than my regular project right now.  It's just easier to get a good picture because you can take a picture of something really boring and it looks great with the Hipstamatic!  I'm not complaining because I really only have to worry about one picture right now.  The Hipstamatic pictures just look great on their own!  :-)

Here is week two...

My Tree

This is my tree from the latest Knitta, Please project!

Jack Burton Trio

I went to see my friend Jack play at Momo's on Sunday night.  It was so much fun!

Felt Flower Hair Clips

This is one of my First Thursday projects that I haven't posted on the blog yet.  Hopefully the weather will get better so I can take some decent pictures of them.  You get a little sneak peek today!  ;-)

A Little Afternoon Planning Session

I got this super cute planner from Robo Roku at First Thursday last week.  I decided it was time to get it out and break it in.  Planning things out helps me feel less stressed.  And this planner is the cutest!

The Rest of the Jellyfish Rings

I ordered some rings a long time ago but they never came until this week.  Luckily I had some more fabric buttons that needed rings!

Look Alive

I went to Austin to the running trail to take pictures (it wasn't a running day for me and I was sore!) and saw this guy on a pole.  Love it!

My Birthday Painting

My friend Noemi gave me this painting for my birthday in November.  I have it hanging on the wall by the table where I sew.  I love looking at it's cuteness!
