365 Project - Week Five

Week five is done!  I find that the further I get into this project, the harder it is to come up with ideas.  Then there are days when I just don't feel like going out of my way to get a picture after a long day at work.  There's only so much I can take a picture of when I go to work and then back home every day.  I'm boring!!  Somehow I have gotten pictures every day.  They aren't all great but I'm pretty proud of some of them.

I keep seeing stuff I would love to take a picture of when I'm driving but it's just impossible to stop and get the picture every time.  I'll keep them in mind for another time when I can stop and get the pictures.  It will give me some ideas for those days when I don't know what to do.  :-)

Here's week five...

Day 29
I took this picture in Buda on my way home from babysiting Saturday night.  I don't think anyone really knows why that water is there but it looks cool when they light up the little fountain parts at night.  There is a red, blue and green one.  The green one was closest to where I was taking pictures so it came out the best.

Day 30
I have been wanting to go up to the top of the hill at the Palmer Events Center in Austin ever since my friend Velma suggested it to me a couple of weeks ago.  I wanted a picture of downtown and she thought this would be a good place.  She was right!!  I love this picture!  I go to church in that neighborhood and decided at the last minute that I really wanted this to be my picture for Sunday.  So, I headed that way when I left church.  It was so hot! I probably won't go on any last minute adventures like that again until it cools off, but I think it was worth it.  :-)

Day 31
Monday was the only day of my three day weekend that I got to stay home!  It was nice.  I cleaned the house, posted a blog and finished a craft project!  Since it was my only day to stay home, I really didn't feel like driving anywhere to get my picture.  This pretty hydrangea is outside in the front yard. It's definitely pretty enough to be day 31!  :-)

Day 32
This is one of the cute little shops in downtown Buda.  I really like this building.  They have a lot of really pretty stuff inside, too.  One of these days I'll go in and see if they will let me take some pictures.  The sun was doing weird glarey things.  So annoying!  It didn't matter what angle I took it. There was always a weird glare.  Maybe I'll do a take 2 at a different time of day one of these days.

Day 33
I had some time to kill Wednesday after work while I was waiting to go to church so I headed over to the Bouldin Creek neighborhood again (have I mentioned that I love that neighborhood?) to see if I could find anything.  I thought this bird house was really cute so I took a picture.  Not much to say.

Day 34
I went over to the little walking trail at my office after work on Thursday to take some pictures.  It really is very pretty.  This is one of my favorite pictures that I took out there.

Day 35
When I left my house this morning to go to work I saw a little spider hanging from my porch.  It hadn't even started making a web yet.  When I got home from work today, this is what I saw.  That is pretty amazing!  One tiny spider did all of that in one day!

BONUS:
These are some of the other pictures I took that I didn't use for the project. I liked them enough to share anyway.

I like this picture of the water fountain because the camera did something weird and made it look like there were two of each color.  I don't know how that happened but I'm really glad it did!

This is what you will find if you ever walk to the top of the little hill at Palmer Events Center.

This is the Austin Lyric Opera building.  I took a picture of it when I was walking back to my car on Sunday.

I took a picture of this cute little windmill when I took the picture of the blue bird house.

This little stream is out at the walking trail at my office.  There was actually water in it since it rained that day and the night before.  Pretty!
Okay, that's it!  I hope you enjoyed it!  :-)
