Holiday Weekend Crafting

Hello!  How was your long weekend?  I was busy!  My relaxing holiday weekend turned into a craft marathon.  First I made 100 fabric buttons and turned them into 50 pairs of hair pins.  Then I packaged all of those along with the felt flower accessories I have made.  I'm getting everything craft show ready.

I also spent some time getting dreaming in Craft ready for Halloween!  I made and listed two Halloween plushies in the shop.  If you have been reading my blog for a while you may recognize these little cuties.

I didn't make any changes to this pattern but I could tell that my sewing skills have improved a lot since last year.  She came out so much more even.  :-)

I wanted to make some modifications to this pattern before I made it again.  Imagine my surprise when I went to get the pattern to work on it and it was gone!  I have no idea what happened to it!  I had to start from scratch.  Oh well.  It' a pretty simple pattern so it didn't take too long.  This year Boo is a little bit taller and wider.  Isn't he cute?

These plushies are now available at Dreaming in Craft.  This weekend I also listed three bunting and ten pairs of fabric button hair pins.  Come see!

Hehe! Her smile came out a little crooked. I think it makes her cuter. I'm not a fan of candy corn either but I do think it makes a cute plushie. :)

Thanks, everyone!

I have to agree...candy corn is much cuter in plushie form! Kandi is adorable :)

Kandi is awesome! I love her expression and she looks much nicer than the real candy corn (which thank goodness we don't get over here - but one of my friends feels compelled to send me a bag every year...I still have last year's bag!!)
Thank you for all the lovely comments on my blog recently - I've been a terrible blogging friend and haven't been to see anyone's recently! Love catching up with all your new designs and work though!

Hehe! I don't know why candy corn is so popular either. I don't like it. I guess it's the colors.

Don't feel bad. I have been a terrible blog friend to people lately, too. I hate to miss reading blogs because they're all blogs I love but it's hard when there are so many that I like to read and I'm really busy. I get behind sometimes. You're an awesome blog friend! :)
