Fireworks

Well, my attempt to get better fireworks pictures this year was not so good.  I used my iPhone camera last year and got these.

I tried to use my digital camera this year but I didn't really know what setting would work the best.  I ended up with a bunch of blurry and smeary pictures.  Some of them look kind of cool anyway.  Every time there was a bunch of fireworks at once I missed them because my camera took too long to take the picture.  Oh well.  I tried to take a video and all the big stuff happened as soon as I stopped recording.  Then, when I finally gave up and decided to take some pictures with my phone the show was over!  Weird!  The show was about half as long as last year and the big finale was tiny!  So, I didn't get great pictures, but I thought I would share them anyway.  :-)

Here is my attempt at a video.  As you can see I missed all the really big fireworks and it's kind of out of focus, but I guess it doesn't really matter for fireworks, right?  ;-)

I still have a lot to learn about my camera.

Pretty pics! I love watching fireworks and taking pictures of them! My camera has a specific fireworks setting that helps capture them. Love!

I love the red one with little white sparkles!
I lucked out because I was able to steady my camera on a table (they'd be too blurry if I just held it). Either way, it's fun watching and photographing, right? :)

Mom - Thanks!! :)

Vanessa - Thanks for reading my blog and leaving a sweet comment. I'm going to have to see if my camera has a setting like that. I don't know much about it yet.

AJ - TABLE!!! DUH! We didn't have a table. Maybe next year. It was still a lot of fun. :)
