I have never been on a long road trip before but lately I have been thinking a lot about it. It would be great to get some friends together and pick a place to drive to. We wouldn't have to rush anywhere. We could take our time and stop at different places along the way. Nothing to worry about...just having fun. I don't know when I'll ever have the time or money to do this but it's something I can daydream about until the time comes. It's on my list of things to do some day.
For now I'll just have to go on adventures like this...

Have you ever taken a long road trip? Where did you go?

I love road trips. So much that I road tripped home when we moved from Seattle...just me and the kids! It took 7 days so we could stop and see stuff...like Yellow Stone and the Royal Gorge and Palo Dro Canyon :) I think you should go on one :)
Cassie - One of these days I will finally go. Probably not until next year though. Year two of Dreaming in Craft is going to be a busy year. But, that gives me more time to save up for a great trip and plan all the cool places I want to see. :-)
My husband and I have alwasy had uber busy schedules so we take several road trips every year, just to be jammed into one space together to reconnect. Now with the kid it's no different. The usual trip is Connecticut to Iowa to visit family. 1500 miles and we do it in two days. If you plan to take a road trip you need this book.

Or use the handy dandy iphone app. It tells you where everything is and you won't need to plan more than a few exits ahead. I started driving cross contry in college and this book saved my life, or need for a gas station or bathroom, more than once. Happy trails!
