This weekend I made one last small batch of button necklaces. I bought more buttons for a piece of fabric I forgot about but then decided to use some of my other fabrics instead. :-)
I'm also working on a hair clip for a friend. It's going to be a grey flower alligator clip with a lime green button in the center. I think it's going to be so pretty!
I'm trying out a new project to share on another blog. I just thought it would be fun to try something new. Hopefully I can figure it out. I don't have a back up plan. Eeks!
Don't worry. I didn't pay $12.99 for it. It was on sale for 50% off! YAY!! :-)
This weekend I'm also working on custom plushies for someone and a new project I've been wanting to try for over a year. I decided it was finally time. I want to have it ready for my next market. I'll post pictures when I finish.
Are you working on anything fun this weekend?

i want to try and make a plushie this weekend but i have no idea how! please post :)
Hi Camille. Thanks for reading my blog! When I make a plushie I just draw a picture and cut each piece out of felt or fabric. Then I stitch the pieces onto the body and sew the body together and stuff it. If it's a big plushie I hand stitch the details and machine sew the body together. If it's a mini plushie it's all hand stitched. I love the blanket stitch for plushies. I usually keep it pretty simple. If you have any questions feel free to email me. I would be happy to write a post showing pictures of the steps for you if you prefer. Just let me know. I can post it next Saturday. :)
